When I first started working at Vertical Solutions, I didn’t fully understand why we are a GP partner as well as a Managed Services Provider. They seemed like two completely different ends of the spectrum to me. When people would ask what I did for a living, I would take a deep breath first and really consider how I would explain these two things without confusing them completely.

It took me a while to fully grasp not only the connection between Dynamics GP and IT, but the importance of that connection and what it means to us and our customers. We have a robust ticketing system that works for both IT and GP (or both) customers. You simply email or call our helpdesk and a ticket is created for you. You can check the status of the ticket and be absolutely sure that no questions go unanswered.

If the situation requires a consultant to make a trip to your location, then our tickets can be escalated to dispatch and someone will schedule a time to come and take a look at the issue in person.

Where is the cloud, really?

With all of the different deployment options and cloud solutions these days, can a traditional GP only partner really understand web client vs deploying on a private cloud or Azure?
